Sensitive, light and balanced

I have used the ikos for moving baits for a few years. Wanted a rod bottom contact lures. The rod is incredibly light and balanced very well. Only had the opportunity to only use it once so far for 30 minutes or so due to a bad storm coming in, but I caught a nice 3 pounder on my 3rd cast with it on a bite I am very confident, that I would not have detected on a lesser rod. The rod pitches effortlessly which leads to a very subtle entry into the water. I mostly throw 5/16 weights on my craws/beavers. It handles that weight flawlessly. I am not a cosmetics guy, but the rod looks great. I really like the small ring like ridges on the blank and the winding checks are real nice. Looking forward to eventually moving all my rods over to ALX.

Awesome Rod

I wasn't sure what I was going to use this rod for, but I've been using it for swimming speed worms down here in Florida and it has been awesome! This rod is so light and has perfect action for swimming a worm. Only had this a few weeks and caught dozens of bass on it swimming a magnum speed worm, which is a Florida staple. This is only one of many ALX rods I have, the only Enox... and I'm realizing why these Enox are so high priced, they are worth it! Great rod!

Highly recommend

Just received my BMJ 10 days ago. Told Alex I was going on a trip up to Minnesota for some fall SM and LM fishing. He made sure I had the rod before the trip (nothing like waiting till the last minute to order). Started using it on a smallmouth lake and was very impressed. I have had other high end manufacturer rods for years and this rod did not disappoint. Fishing was tough for some reason this year, but the BMJ did not let me miss any of the few bites I got. Can't say enough, the sensitivity, the balance, the castibility, it was all top notch !! And also thanks to Alex for taking the time to point me in the right direction since I was not familiar with his line of products. Good customer service is not that common in todays world, and ALX has it. Thanks Alex !!!

Being a northern Wisconsin and Minnesota smallmouth bass chaser, I was a little skeptical about choosing a rod from anything other than a well known Wisconsin rod manufacturer. I’m extremely pleased I pulled the trigger after seeing numerous positive reviews. I fish mainly football jigs and chatterbaits over rocky points in northern lakes. This rod has it all. So much so I find myself retrying lures just to use this rod. Its balance and sensitivity are miles above its price point. An amazing tool that I believe helped me catch more fish. I will definitely be replacing most of my rods with these. Add in the amazing customer service and recommendation from ALX, which pushed me toward the BMJ, they now have a customer for life. Thank you ALX! Your sticker now adorns my boat.

I bought this ENOX BMJ along with several other ALX rods on the recommendation of a fishing buddy Philly Santaford. I have used it both for swimjigs and chatterbaits and it is AMAZING! The balance and sensitivity for a medhvy rod is perfect. I need to get another so I can have one dedicated to each of those baits. I have spent the past few years converting most of my rods to st croix legend rods, don’t get me wrong, they are very nice, but these ALXs are even better! I can’t give a strong enough recommendation. Thanks Philly!
