ZOLO Speedfury - 7'5", MedLight+, Fast Casting

Designed for weightless plastics on clear highland reservoirs, the Speed Fury excels at weightless fluke style baits and light line style baits. The Speed Fury has proved popular among coastal redfishermen for popping rigs and small jigs. The rod has a very light tip with ample backbone to bring in fish. The long working length of the rod allows long casts – great for sight fishing lighter baits.

Great for Long Casts and Plenty of Backbone to Get Them to the Boat

I have bad shoulders, love to bass fish, and wanted a rod to toss standard and junior size poppers for largemouth bass. I called and spoke to Alex and told him I needed a balanced rod for this application. He was very helpful and recommended this rod. I have literally caught 150+ fish and will be adding to that count as top water season settles in here in AZ. I was able to outcast my boater on schooling fish and the rod has good backbone to get it done. One thing I recommend if you are fishing treble hooks is to loosen the reel drag as you get them near the boat. The rods loads fast for this treble hook application and I lost a few initially until I compensated with the drag. After that it was game on. I will be expanding to other baits this tear as I love the rod. Balanced and quality built. Thanks Alex.

Exceptional Rod

Great lightweight rod to help sling those weightless flukes and swimbaits a mile. Have always needed a rod that can handle a long hook set and also be able to cover the distance needed between me and the fish while in clear herring lakes!

long casting finesse rod!

Awesome Rod! Excels in long casts in the gin clear waters up North...smaller Keitech swimmers, Goby plastics, weightless wacky Senkos, finesse jigs and worms...Light sensitive tip with backbone for those big Smallmouth bass...Will throw Warts. DT4s, and Shad Raps too...

Not a fan

Not a fan of the rod. The rod feels ok but not for me. Prefer my current rods.
