ZOLO Twitch - 6'8", MedLight+, Fast Casting

This rod's namesake is spot on. It is perfectly setup for phenomenal twitch actions on baits like topwater walking baits and jerkbaits. The tip is perfect for hard snaps for great action on the baits but still has a great backbone to fight those big fish. I love that it is shorter at 6'8" so that the twitch is easy without hitting the tip on the water or the front of the boat or kayak. The sensitivity in the rod is unreal, even on slack line during the pause you can feel when a fish hits the jerkbait! Easily one of my favorite rods!

I purchased the Zolo Twitch just in time for the fall jerkbait season. I was able to take it out on four different occasions and was able to catch 16 bass ranging between 1 1/2 to 4 lbs. The Twitch handled these fish flawlessly. Furthermore the action of the rod fished the jerkbait very well. The tip has the action needed to get the sharp jerks and pauses needed to catch cold water fish, but still protects light line and helps to keep fish pinned with light wire trebles(vision 110). The rod is so light and balanced it's almost like not having anything in your hand at all and it's VERY easy on the eyes, it looks great. I own a locker full of GLoomis rods from E6X's to GLX's so when I say I don't want to put my Zolo down that's saying something. In my honest opinion the Twitch fishes better than its price point. I'm very impressed!!!
