Rod Spotlight - ALX Rods ENOX Hunch

The ALX Rods ENOX Series Hunch is a 7', medium power casting rod designed specifically for bass fishing and specializes in smaller baits such as shakey heads, magnum finesse applications, and fluke and Keitech style swimbaits. 

The Hunch is a joy to fish all day. It's light (only 4.2 ounces) and nimble (balances at the reel) and highly responsive thanks to the Toray 1100T carbon fiber construction. There is ample backbone to handle hard fighting fish like stud smallmouth bass and spotted bass. The ideal techniques for the Hunch are shakey heads, drop shot rigs, Neko rigs, wacky rigs, and the Hunch casts a 2.8 to 3.2 soft swimbait with a 1/8 or 1/4 ounce head incredibly well. The rod also sports a fast action that compliments the needed presentation for these techniques.
