  • ZOLO Skipper - 6'9", Medium Heavy +, Fast Casting

Under docks... under tree limbs... skipping is highly effective for finding less pressured fish that are ready to fill your weigh bag. The ZOLO Skipper has the perfect blend of tip and power to load up a sling shot cast that bounces across the surface and then pulls that fish out from pilings and stumps. The short length also works great for coanglers looking for a heavier powered rod that is easier to work around poles and light posts in the back of the boat.

    Zolo skipper rod

Very nice at 6' 9" for getting under anything. Tip is excellent and has plenty of backbone to get the job done.

    New Skipper

Very fast shipping and well packaged. Will be using rod for chatter baits. I think it will be a great rod for my use. This is my second ALX rod and will not be the last. Thanks Alex .

    Technique specific Skipping Rod

Short handle, great backbone a fast tip make this rod the best that I have owned.
the length works great in those tight, hard to get to places.

Never been happier with a rod

This rod skips like a dream and has landed me some nice fish. It's really light and it has some backbone. Where I fish it's weedy under the docks and this rod had no issues getting them out. Only thing I wish is that they sold them in Canada.

    Awesome

Fished this rod for couple of months now. I am a three rod kayak kind of guy so versatility is a key. Bought it for (1) swim jigs, (2) spinnerbaits, (3) heavy cover finesse(ish) jigs. Does it all really well but absolutely shines with (3). Biggest haul so far was a 20-30 lb snapping turtle that inhaled riot minima jig in the middle of submerged tree pile up. My fourth but not last alx rod. Maestro is probably next.
