ZOLO Toadface Casting Rod

This rod is an absolute workhorse. I use mine mainly for magdraft and it is the best rod I have ever used for that application. The tip is so sensitive that you can feel the vibration of the magdraft tail, but on the hookset the rod loads into the fish perfectly. It also has enough power to torque fish out of heavy cover. I plan to get another one for my frogging setup. Great rod!

I switched to ALX rods a couple years ago and could not be happier. I own multiple ALX rods but the Toadface is easily my favorite. This rod can do anything but I find it really excels at fishing texas rigs and pitching/flipping.

I use my Toadface primarily throwing stick baits, creature baits, craws, and other soft plastics. It handles weightless plastics all the way up to throwing 1oz+ flipping rigs. I've caught tons of fish with this rod and it's holding up like new. The feeling and comfort is incredible. Light, sensitive, and tough enough to pull in the biggest fish.

I have purchased 2 toadface
rods and they are great!! Light and sensitive!! One I use as my frog rod and the other I throw swim jigs and chatter baits with, also the customer service is amazing!!

Been searching high and low for the perfect do it all casting rod - this is it! Wanted something that bordered Heavy (backbone) and still had that MH feel and castability. Having a rod that i can confidently fish in cover and open water is a game changer for me. Fishing from the bank - i only want to carry two rods. I can now pick this up and grab my spinning rod and I am ready to go!!!!

After having my first ALX rod, Zolo Toadface, for a few months now, I figured I'd give my impression. First, I'm transitioning from another "well known" rod manufacturer, after having 3 rods break in the past year and a half. I decided to give ALX a try. The rod is super light, versatile, and very sensitive. I've used it for frogs, buzz toads, 3.5 inch swim baits, and spinnerbaits. It exceeded my expectations at catching fish for all of those presentations. I was impressed with it so much, that I ordered a Dream, Dragger, and Brawler from ALX. I ordered those rods on a Monday, and they were at my door the next afternoon. You can't beat that. I fished a tournament the weekend I received my new rods, and was blown away with the sensitivity of the Dragger and Brawler while using C-Rigs and Football Jigs. You can literally feel everything on the bottom and detecting bites are a no brainer. I let my partner use the Dragger, and now I think ALX will have another new customer. Thanks ALX for such an awesome product at a good price point. These will not be the only ALX rods in my boat.
