  • Custom Shop ZOLO Artemis Swimbait

Built for big baits, the Artemis SBU is built on a special ZOLO series rod blank specifically designed for swimbait bass fishing. Carefully designed with input from the swimbait community, the Artemis SBU is best paired with 1 to 4-oz treble and single hook swimbaits. The Fuji PULS reel seat features a smaller, backswept trigger that allows four-finger palming and placement for powerful sweeping hooksets. Additionally, the seat offers a double-keyed locking nut system to ensure even large swimbait reels stay securely fastened.  Fuji Alconite Guides (size 10-8-7-6s) are sized to accommodate both braid and 25# monofilament line. The Artemis SBU features a long, 15" handle that smoothly tucks under your arm and won't hang on clothing.

While the Artemis SBU is designed for swimbaits like Bull Shads, Triple Trouts, and Hudds, it performs flawlessly with umbrella rigs to offer year-round service in your bass fishing arsenal.

    Great Rod

Been putting the rod to work this summer. I am tossing primarily 7-8" glides and sometimes rats or wakes on it. You can throw an S-waver 168 on it but it's too much rod for that and you can throw a Baitsanity Tug on it (4oz) but it's pushing it and your wrists will hurt after a long day. The sweet spot is 2-3oz baits. I have thrown single hook soft baits like a hud but have not hooked up yet so can't say how it handles that situation but for treble hook baits, it seems to be working well.
I can only hope that soon they have a full line of swimbait rods :-). 3 for single hook soft baits 6", 7-8", and 10"+. Then another series for treble hook baits 6", 7-8", 9-10", 11"+ (prob don't need this one).
Anyways, I would definitely buy this rod again, and may soon. I think anyone would be happy with the purchase of this rod.
