The ALX Rods ZOLO Series got an upgrade by way of a grip change. After seeing the high-quality cork used on high-end saltwater fly rods, Alex decided the ZOLO Series should be improved with this change. One piece cork improves consistency, strength, durability and the overall finish. Also, moving to a one piece EVA foam on the butt increases strength, prevents wear and tear and also is easy to remove and replace if needed.
