ZOLO Crank Casting Rod

I live on a private lake and the day this rod came in I went straight out on the lake and starting fishing . I was throwing a small square bill and was amazed from the very first cast how easy it cast and how much i could feel compared to my other cranking rod. I caught between 20-30 bass that night , lots of 11/12 inchers but also several 2 and 3 pounders and I can honestly say I never lost a fish ! The soft tip allowed them to take the bait and and get hooked without pulling it out . This is definitely my new go to rod for cranking and I can’t wait to order another rod for chatterbaits and spinnerbaits !! I highly recommend trying ALX rods , you won’t be disappointed!

I am an angler who fishes a TON of crankbaits. My favorite way to fish is throwing crankbaits into submerged timber and rocks. My Zolo Crank is my go-to for any shallow diving or lipless crankbait. I consistently fish heavy cover and it has never let me down. Anything from finesse squarebills to lipless crankbaits to 1oz size squarebills. This thing is amazing. Paired with a Steez A and Sunline Crank fluorocarbon I can fish with it all day and catch a ton of fish. I can't say enough good things about Zolo rods!

This rod has quickly become my favorite cranking rod that I have ever owned. The Zolo Crank (7'4" Medium Moderate) loads up great on the cast, and the sensitivity on retrieve is awesome. I primarily bought this rod for throwing mid-depth cranks like Rockcrawlers and Wiggle Warts, and it has truly exceeded my expectations for that presentation. It'll launch them, and it'll keep those fish pinned. This is my first ALX purchase; further, this is my first rod review that I've ever submitted--I've fished tournaments for 20+ years, and I've owned about every brand of rod out there. I like that thing so much, though, that I want to let my fellow fishermen know about it. This rod fishes wayyyy above its price point.

I loved the Dragger so much that there was no question in my mind that when it was time to replace one of my cranking rods it was going to be an ALX rod. The Zolo crank was in my hands almost all day, very comfortable, light & amazing performance. This rod is awesome for throwing lighter crankbaits a long way. The action is incredible for getting the fish hooked. The quality and fit/finish of the rod is amazing. You can feel every pebble your crank bait hits. When you get one on this rod is great for getting them to the boat.
