    Great Rod

    I have fished this rod for two years. It is my favorite rod, sensitive enough with backbone. I have caught all kinds of fish bass and pike. The only problem I have found is with line memory casting. The small first eye near the reel will loop around if there is any memory in the line. I have used line conditioner and a limper line. This helps the majority of the time. I will have them make me a few rods with larger first loop and larger tip as well.
    This rod is still my favorite overall.

    Ikos shake

    I just recieved the rod a few days ago and I love it .first time out used it in a club tournament to throw ned rigs .I came in 4th won enough to pay for the rod .I have 4 alx casting rods .needless to say this will not be the last rod a purchase from alx

    My drop shot rod.

    I purchased the Shake 7 last season for my drop shot rod. I was a little hesitant, as I like a sensitive rod for finesse and that usually comes at a higher price point. I have been more than happy with it to say the least! I own many ALX rods and they have never disappointed. The Shake 7 is sensitive, light and has the perfect action for smaller finesse applications. This rod handles northern giant smallmouth with ease.

    Perfect finesse rod

    Great rod for NED rigs, drop shots, or any light weight finesse technique. Plenty of backbone to to get a good hook set but soft enough tip to play aggressive fish!
