Go To Spinnerbait Rod

I was looking for a moving bait rod that could be super versatile. I was not disappointed. The Dream can do multiple techniques, but I'm sold with the performance of it when I throw the Megabass SV-3 Spinnerbait. Not much else to say. I The Dream would be a tiny bit too less of a rod for spinnerbaits but it just works. As a former Dobyns guy, this rod is very similar to the Champion 703C. Probably light years better too.

As stated in other reviews and incredibly versatile rod for 1/2oz and under. Spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, swim jigs, T-Rigs, Neko rigs, topwater, flukes, Senkos…basically anything but a crankbait or trap this rod does a great job with.

Versatile

The Dream is a very versatile rod for baits a half ounce and under. Topwater, spinnerbait, swimbait, whatever, just tie it on. But I've recently discovered my favorite use for the Dream: Squarebills, Rk Crawlers and the like. The Dream makes for very accurate casting with these bait. You can feel every movement of the bait, every rock on the bottom, the bite and, once the hook is set, the rod loads beautifully to keep the fish pinned and get it in the boat. It's a great rod, just like all my other ALX's.

Exactly what I was looking for!

The ZOLO Dream was named correctly! This rod fills a void in my arsenal. I had been looking for a light weight very sensitive rod for throwing 1/8 oz to 1/2 oz spinnerbaits as well as lighter chatterbaits. The tip is perfect for just a slight delay in the hook set which has increased my hookups substantially, especially with chatterbaits.
Throwing weightless worms is also a breeze.
A true dream for me!
