Hey y’all, I'd like to introduce our newest rod. It's the ALX Rods ZOLO Series JPS. JPS stands for jerkbait, poppers, and spinning rod. We've been getting a lot of questions lately about what is our best spinning rod for jerkbaits. That 90 to 110 size jerk bait is super popular. It's the most commonly used size. We've seen a lot of success with our jerkbait casting rod, so what we did was we basically took our jerkbait casting rod and turned it into a spinning configuration. It tops out at 6'8" long. It's got the same great short handle, so when you're working your jerkbait, it doesn't hang up in your shirt. Doesn't hang up in your clothes. You don't have a rod butt in your hoodie pocket, so that way you can very effectively and easily work a jerkbait with that tip down, popping in motion. One of the things that we've seen is that jerkbaits are being used a lot more often, in a lot of different situations than they used to be, thanks to forward-facing sonar. So we wanted to get ahead of the curve and address that need very quickly.

We call it a medium plus, so that means it's got a little less tip with a little bit more backbone. It's got eight guides.
