Description

The IKOS Thunder is a brute-force, rippin’ lips powerhouse. The ModFast action allows the blank to load deeper on the cast, helping launch large baits like deep diving crankbaits, swimbaits, and Alabama rigs. When the hookset happens, the rod transitions into the powerful midsection where fish are fought in the belly of the blank, giving you the leverage needed to pull them out of thick cover or control big fish throughout the fight.

    These rods are good for the price but had a guide break off couse I kinda hard on rods but there great rods there's some stuff I wish they would change but I understand why but these rods are good for the money cought some fish on them been thinking about getting a nother one

    Thanks for the review! While our guides are very durable, they aren't indestructible. We have a very low amount of guide issues and we have replacement guides available to repair the rod and get it back in service!

    Thunder for the win!

    This is my second Thunder, one is used for flipping light cover and this one is used for speed cranking. Cranking in the 15 foot range and this rod is the perfect length for that long cast and the moderate fast tip is extra cushion for the braid to mono leader. Plenty of back bone gives me confidence when I trigger that reaction bite.. leaps and bounds above the competition!! ALX
