Great rod.

I can say that it's a great rod. Ordered 2. Got to use one the other day however we had temps hit 120 and the water was HOT so no giants. Only managed to get 4 small spots on it. Handled the 1/2oz dropshot great. Handled the tiny fish well. Sensitive enough that I could feel all the bites and the lead dropshot weight rolling around on the rocks I'll put it to the test as I fish a lot but so for it feels good paired with my 3000 size Daiwa Tatula spinnig reels.

DROPSHOT!!!!

ABSOLUTLY LOVE THIS ROD!!!!! i never really drop shotted much. I've owned other drop shot rods and also used the shake 7 as a drop shot rod until i bought this rod. I love the sensitivity and the action. Honestly i like to throw drop shots now because catching big brown footballs on this rod is a frickin blast. Thanks ALX for building excellent rods,

Awesome rod

Rod is well balanced and feels super sensitive. It is mated with a new Stradic 2500. Haven’t had a chance to try it but should be the perfect drop shot set up.

Great rod!

I recently had a Custom built Diplomat in a 7'2" length for Drop-shotting and casting 3.5" Swim baits for Smallmouth Bass...Caught a nice bass on the first cast...nice XFast action with surprising backbone...great rod!

I love this rod for drop-shotting mean smallmouths in the Great Lakes. Love it so much, I had to add a second one! I have braid on both my reels, so I can also throw small cranks and poppers with this rod.
